Contemporary skating's first large scale piece! Le Patin Libre makes a dream come true: its 15 glide virtuosos become a real human version of the hallucinating aerial ballets of flocks of starlings. This murmuration on ice becomes an epic and spectacular meditation on complex groups: harmony, survival, polarization, war, peace. Choreographed by Alexandre Hamel, Pascale Jodoin, Samory Ba Dancers Oktawia Scibior, David Billiau, Kristýna Mikulášová, Taylor Dilley, Sophie Blomqwist, Garrett Kling, Jennifer Edwards, Isaac Lindy, Maude Poulin, Jacqueline Benson, Haley Alcock, Imogen Croft, Samory Ba, Pascale Jodoin, Alexandre Hamel Artistic advisor Yaron Lifschitz Coproduce by Fonds national de création du Centre national des arts, Fonds de création CanDanse, Danse Danse, Centre national des Arts, Dance House, Fall for Dance North en collaboration avec TO Live, la Rotonde.
