In the intimate ambience of a house concert, we share the songs set to the powerful and haunting poetry of contemporary Chinese worker poet Xu Lizhi. A synergy of global and classical music, these songs, performed in Mandarin, offer a vivid glimpse into life on the assembly line of countless workers who provide the amenity for our digital age. Kong Kie Njo - Singer Kong Kie Njo - Pianist Dahlia Katz - Photo credits This is an intimate concert version of our staged show. The introduction to the songs will be delivered in English. There will be English/French translations of the poetry shared with the guests. The songs themselves are performed in Mandarin Chinese. Open to all participants of the CINARS 2022 Biennial Number of seats (per performance): 8 Shuttle service NOT included
