“All of our lines are currently busy…”, “Please stay on the line…” It is under the signs of expectation, of a suspended connection, and of an uncertain interlocutor that Simon et le temps perdu begins. Created in Nunavut in 2021, this highly acrobatic show combines juggling arts, clownish humor, and balancing acts to explore themes of solitude and patience. How to establish the connection with the other and above all, how to maintain it when this other turns out to be desperately absent, desperately silent? However, against the unbearable solitude to which the spectator can only sympathize, the magic operates and creativity springs up: against the world that has become silent. Simon et le temps perdu invites us to laugh, sadly and joyfully, of a playful and colorful exploration of the lost time which only asks to be reinvented!
