On a day like any other, Ernest, Stanislas and Désiré wake up in a rather good mood when a letter comes in saying : ‘’You’re life is over. All your days are spent. There’s nothing you can do about it. Best regards.’’ First of all, where does this letter come from? Who decided this? And why today? In great haste, they reinvent a newfound youth and pursue crazy dreams of crossing deserts, go pirate hunting and climbing the Himalayas... It’s all so impossible: they just don’t have the time to die! The three old men can move heaven and earth all they want, but the Reaper keeps them in his watchful eye, and course, quell their resistance. But living forever is a great utopia. The three old men can move heaven and earth all they want, but the Reaper keeps them in his watchful eye, and course, quell their resistance.
